Close to you is an unreleased song by Gracie Abrams. Gracie released a snippet on Instagram of Close to you on September 2017. A few months later Gracie made the slower acoustic snippet into an upbeat pop song and posted the snippet of it in March 2018.
During a concert in 2022, Gracie confirmed, that while she loves the song, she doesn't plan on releasing it, as it doesn't sound like the music she makes nowadays. However, with the announcement of the new album, "The Secret of Us", she announced the release of the song.
